Relation de Voyage is a programme of films made by contemporary artists delving into the essence of journeying, thereby interrogating and transcending conventional perceptions of our reality. Spanning from physical voyages across urban landscapes to digital traversals spanning continents, these works intricately weave together the metaphorical and tangible realms, both online and Away From Keyboard (AFK). Embracing and subverting the colonialist underpinnings of exploration, these narratives redefine borders and reconstitute a new reality. These acts of traversal become a threshold to liminality, engendering profound metamorphoses and offering new narratives of defiance, wherein space, corporeality, and existence are reclaimed.
